Whale tenders - coal rails

Post by stuart dickinson » Wed Dec 04, 2019 8:02 pm

Could anyone please offer some advice on their size and particularly section. This is to help complete an EM Precursor.?
I have looked at numerous photos in published books, and it may be a reflection of the light, but they seem to be possibly half or full round bars.

According to the GA drawing of the tender the rails are 2" wide spaced at 1 1/2" and are made of a shallow section half round bar.

Hope this helps
