Vectis Auction 17th January 2020

Whilst these are some of the best ratio carriages I have seen in terms of painting, as you would expect from Larry, I think the auctioneer got his estimate slightly out, estimating £100-140, with them realising £750!!! https://www.vectis.co.uk/lot/oo-gauge-kitbuilt-ratio-6-x-lnwr-brown-and-white-liv...

Re: LNWR wagon grey

If you are willing to stick the kettle on then I could bring the tin I purchased last year at Gauge 0 Guild Kettering down for you to have a look at. I suspect you will think it is too dark as it is a dark grey, will also bring a wagon recently painted with it.

L&NWR Horse Cart and Bus - Video

Having watched the incredible videos in the Carriages section as found by member rdb, I started having a wee search on BFI player and found the following that may also be of interest. First up is a video which is entitled London Street Scene https://player.bfi.org.uk/free/film/watch-london-street-sc...

Re: Three Victorian Films: Six Trains

Wow - just wow.

First its a big thank you for sharing the films, and second its an even bigger thankyou for all the hard work that you have done in sharing the films.

I wonder if we could share these at the AGM. Must read the terms of use.

Many many thanks
