We are having some work done to the house and the Domestic Department has suggested a deep red colour. So, not wishing to let the opportunity pass, please does anyone have a RAL number for an approximation to LNWR carriage plum?

Thank you.

Mike

I don't know what a RAL number is, but decorators' merchants have a vast collection of sample colour cards in several paint ranges. Farrow and Ball?

Mike,

I had cellulose paint mixed by scanning the Precision Paints colour. I think you can do the same with interior paints from a colour swatch or photograph, if you go to a Dulux agent.

Now now Simon, don't be silly, Magnolia inside, but outside can be different. OK, I'll tell you, its the front door! I managed to match LNWR plum for the car, but the door needs a RAL number for powder coating.
