Philip Millard’s notes indicate that Diagram 48 (3rd Tea Car) was part of the order for Diagram 266 (Corridor 3rds). Can anyone tell me whether the tea was served from a hatch in the kitchen compartment, or was it a trolley service?

The tea was served by a steward who brought it from the kitchen to the persons in the passenger compartments. He would doubtless have carried it on a tray.

Once again many thanks for your prompt response, and as usual it is always appreciated.
