I have recently found a photo of the Warwick Road end of Coventry Goods Yard which I think is circa 1890. I have added some observations to the captions but as always any information would be gratefully received. Is my date correct for a start?

The general view can be seen here: http://www.warwickshirerailways.com/lms/lnwrcov3728.htm

A close up of the sidings can be seen here: http://www.warwickshirerailways.com/lms ... v3728a.htm (information on the signal/lamp? in the centre would be very useful)

A close up of the cattle sidings can be seen here: http://www.warwickshirerailways.com/lms ... v3728b.htm (information on the roofless cattle wagon would be very useful too).

The 1887 25 inch to the mile OS map can be seen here http://www.warwickshirerailways.com/lms/lnwrcov3729.htm

with a close of same here: http://www.warwickshirerailways.com/lms ... v3729a.htm

As always any assistance will be given full credit.

Mike
