Does anyone know where the LNWR produced its station seats please?

I have the idea that it was Earlestown, but I cannot remember the source of this. Station seats would be produced only intermittantly, as new stations opened or (later on) as replacements were required. We can guess that not many were made after say 1900, as mostly all existed by then and they did not normally wear out.

following an enquiry from the heritage trust in Carlingford
can anyone tell me what colour the station seats were painted - metal frames and the wooden slats?

You will find the answer in that marvellous book "LNWR Liveries" page 31. Brown, sometimes called dark buff.
