Hopefully the link below will work:

http://www.ciht.org.uk/en/media-centre/ ... rise-again

It looks like it will be a long way off but maybe hope is kindled

Many thanks David, that's great news.

The Euston Arch Trust website has been apparently dead for months. Repeated suggestions of corrections to wrong information on the site have been ignored, and their Forum has been overrun by trolls and spammers.

But perhaps this announcement will wake the Trust up. As an early supporter I really hope it does.

Indeed excellent news; the will does seem to be there. I'm not sure if the LNWRS has a link with the group involving Dan Cruikshank; we certainly should add support.

Naturally as Project Engineer for the millennium Euston remodelling I couldn't resist trying to pop the Arch into the scope but the world was not ready to listen at that time! The job was all about making the station work better anyway!

When we were surveying we tried to work out where the footprint of the arch was; I seem to remember we felt it was around the Western Colonnade?

Regards

Peter S.
