My payment to the treasurer through Pay Pal to the Society for membership has been returned and an E mail to the address on the Webb site bounced back. Can I please have an address to contact the treasurer.
Thanks Murry

Murry

I am somewhat confused as I have just emailed treasurer@lnwrs.org.uk and it has worked for me. I have also sent the society paypal account ( again treasurer@lnwrs.org.uk ) 50p from my own personal paypal account and that has worked too.

Obviously it is hard for me to diagnose the problem as it is working here.

Try sending me an email again and see what happens.

Could be a problem with international traffic - yes, I know this is meant to be the age of global connectivity, but (a) a certain well-know plastic kit retailer (located not a million miles from Lowestoft) is currently advertising the fact that Paypal is having trouble making payments to UK from some overseas customers - apparently a problem with the information the UK bank is receiving, and (b) this time last year a well-know modelling material supplier (who does a nice line in axle alignment/chassis building jigs, if a trifle expensive) couldn't understand why he was unable to send me e-mails, until he discovered his ISP was helpfully blocking all French addresses (thankfully, the telephone still worked). These things are sent to try us ...

I have a funny feeling some person might have missed a letter in the address. Of course I am innocent.
