The talk is entitled "To the Ends of the Earth" - Crewe Railway Families
Abroad, 1900 - 1980, by Dr.Di Drummond. It takes place at 7.30pm on Tuesday
14th March 2017 in Studio 3, Lifestyle Centre, Moss Square, Crewe CW1 2BB;
(parking available under the old library on Prince Albert Street). Di
Drummond is an excellent speaker, and she has written two books about
railways, namely "Crewe: Railway Town, Company and People 1840-1914", and
"Tracing Your Railway Ancestors".
There is an admission charge of £3, (£2 for FHSC members).
PLEASE NOTE - CHANGE OF VENUE: the talk will now be held in the Council Chamber of the Municipal Buildings on Earle Street, Crewe, commencing at 17.15, finishing at 21.00. (The new venue is only 50 metres from the above car park,and 100 metres from the previous venue.)
