There was an item on Radio 4 today which led me to the link below:-

http://services.english-heritage.org.uk ... 012WEB.pdf

For such an important heritage action the Society should be involved in at least commenting.

In that immortal phrase "Somebody must do something"

Has the Society a person who will take the lead in consultation? If no volunteers then I will make the first move.

There are references to LNWR boxes in the report and I commend it as good reading.

Regards

Peter Stanton

Not quite sure what needs doing or commenting upon Peter?

The report is dated 2012 and the boxes selected for listing have been identified. The Railway Signalling Society is credited and one of their prominent members, and THE authority on LNWR boxes is a Vice President of the LNWR Society, so he seems like the obvious person to ask, but I'm sure he knows all about it anyway.
